In most every case involving water damage, the duct work will have to be accessed and visually inspected in order to determine if water has penetrated the system, and to what degree. It is then determined what areas can be repaired and what will need full replacement. All excess water will have to be extracted from the duct work through the use of pumps or dehumidifiers before any actual duct cleaning can begin.
